Internship Program

Unheard Voices Online is looking for Graphic Designer, Web Content Management, Journalism, Communication, Social Media, Marketing/Promotion, and Photography Interns!

Potential interns are required to email a resume and include a portfolio of any of their previous work (published or unpublished). Candidates are preferred (but do not necessarily have to be) enrolled in a two or four year school while focusing on one of the said internship positions. All internships are located in Long Branch, NJ

Communication Intern:
Interns will assist with the production of Unheard Voices Radio and Television. This includes, but not limited to, video editing, recording, managing our live stream website, and taking phone calls during live tv shows and radio shows. Communication interns will also have the opportunity to host their own shows on the network.

Graphic Design Intern:
Interns will assist with any graphic related material. This includes, but not limited to, updating the Unheard-Voices.com websites and any sub directories including Unheard Voices Radio, Television, and blogs associated with the website. Graphic design interns will also assist with Unheard Voices Online Shop.

Web Content Management:
Interns will assist in updating content on the website, and managing the system. This includes, but not limited to, updating our news section and posting any articles/news that needs to posted. Interns must be able to know how to research on the web and know how to use content management systems.

Journalism Intern
Interns will contribute to the many sections of the website. This includes, but not limited to, News, Fashion, Business, UV local, Music, Interviews, Reviews, Coverage of events, etc. Interns will receive press passes to events for coverage via Unheard-Voices.com. Interns will also carry in-person and phone interviews.

Marketing/Promotion
Unheard-Voices.com is looking for individuals who are interested in promoting the brand and the business. Interns will assist in devising marketing schemes and strategies for the website. Interns will receive promotional material (T-Shirts, stickers, banners). Interns will be present at events, school activities, local concerts, etc.

Photography Intern
Interns will be required to photograph various events. Events, parties, fashion shows, concerts, community events, etc. Photographers will also get press passes.

At the end of the internship an overall evaluation & recommendation letter will be provided. This experience may lead to a full-time position.
