New Jersey Gov. Christie called a law student an 'idiot' in a shouting match about the proposed merger of Rutgers-Camden Law School and Rowan University.

William Brown, a law student and Democrat who made a successful run the New Jersey state assembly repeatedly interrupted the governor. As Brown was escorted out, Governor Christie shouted to the future lawyer if he ever acted like that in a courtroom, "your rear end's going to get thrown in jail, idiot."

Christie later told the audience he tried to be patient with Brown, a former Navy SEAL. "Every time I tried to answer, he started yelling over me again. Damn, man, I'm the governor. Can you just shut up for a second?"
