Jersey City, NJ – A boy playing with his parent’s gun accidentally shot his 12-year-old friend in Jersey City, reports NJ.com.
A law enforcement source, who asked to remain anonymous, said the gun belonged to a corrections officer.
It is not confirmed whether or not this was an accident or homicide.
Hudson County Prosecutor Edward DeFazio confirmed the shooting death but said details are pending further investigation. “We’re not sure at this point whether it’s an accident or a homicide,” – NJ.com
