TBS has ordered an additional 35 episodes of Perry’s new sitcom, For Better or Worse.
The show, which ranked as the No. 1 sitcom among African American adults., premiered November 25 and averaged 2.9 million viewers and 1.9 million advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic in its 10-episode freshman year.
A spin off from Why Did I Get Married, For Better or Worse, revolves itself around the ups and downs of marriage and relationships starring Tasha Williams, Michael Jai White, Crystle Stewart, Kent Faulcon, Kiki Haynes and Jason Olive.
The series will join the slate of new shows including Men at Work, Sullivan and Son, and The Wedding Band.
The show will return to its regular Friday night slot in the summer.
