
In a joint effort with Unheard Voices Networks, Kevin Cheatham Players presents a new sitcom called “Dirty Laundry”. Directed by Kevin Cheatham, Dirty Laundry is hilarious and will have you rolling in your seats.
This sitcom surrounds itself around Mr. Daniels (played by Keith Covin) a retired scientist and college professor who opens up a laundromat in the local neighborhood. He feels great about opening up his own place of business. But he faces the typical problem of a greedy family member “CeCe” (Played by Christa Robinson) who can smell money from a mile away! She will do literally anything as along as she receives a payday.
Mr. Daniel’s close cousin “Barbara” is played by (Dyanna Meade Gibbs) who has a sharp ability to manage money but her down fall is that she sometimes falls asleep on the job! This drives Mr. Daniels crazy.
Dexter played by (Kodie Tillman) is an audio engineer! He becomes the sound and music of the laundromat. It is up to him to keep Mr. Daniels happy with music.
Marcos and Martin played by (Travis Whitaker) shows his remarkable talents and skills as he takes on twins roles which has Mr. Daniel flabbergasted and going crazy to say the least.
The old man and crazy man played by (Will Nash). Both his characters bring laughter and wisdom to the set. He knows just about everything in the neighborhood. He gives Mr. Daniels a lesson about surrounding area of the Dirty Laundromat. He has to let Mr. Daniels know everything but he does it in such an annoying way.
Ruthie is played by (Tom ) who brings more laughter and drama to the set as she switches her way into the laundromat. She tries to convince Mr. Daniels to do things that he has never done before. She plays on Mr. Daniels vulnerability to tight dresses and red heads.
“Dirty Laundry” will premiere at the Adam Bucky James Center on September 16th. The sitcom will also premiere live on the website through livestream. Check out UV Live for show times.
