Blacks in History: Tempestt Bledsoe
Everyone best remembers Tempestt as playing the third child on the groundbreaking show, The Cosby Show. She was the nosy, sneaky sister, who often got into fights with her siblings usually Theo. During the last season of the sitcom, Vanessa attended Lincoln University and was engaged to get married.
After The Cosby Show, Tempestt had a year long talk show in the mid-1990s called The Tempestt Bledsoe Show, produced by Dick Clark. She made a brief appearance on The Parkers, and had a recurring role as a single mother on the shows, The Practice, Strong Medicine, and South of Nowhere.
Where is she now?

Tempestt holds a degree in finance from New York University. She is currently dating, Darryl M. Bell who played Ron on A Different World. They both recently starred together on the Fox Reality television show Househusbands of Hollywood which debuted in August 2009.
Her most recent work includes Oxygen Channel movie, Husband For HireSteven Bochco’s Raising the Bar, and Abby in the third season of Disney Channel’s animated series The Replacements.
